All parcels of land in the province will eventually be entered (or “migrated”) into this new system, which is designed to simplify future property transactions. The process is usually activated with sale or refinance of the parcel and it is usually the lawyer for the person selling or mortgaging the property who is responsible to ensure it is properly entered into the system.
